The Class of 1971, a true work of art, converted by Malcolm MacDonald '71. 1962 REUNION YEAR Lawrence Devoe Paul Grawe Our condolences to Kendra H. Gaines, whose husband, Ken Wolfgang, passed away in September. We hope memories of happy times together bring a measure of comfort to her and all who knew Ken. 1964 Bonnie Tansill Holms Jill Goldberg Medlinsky Sally Nye Parris Thomas Tice We are sorry to report that Richard R. Hausfeld passed away on June 22, 2011. Dick enjoyed organizing the 40th reunion and remembered his classmates fondly in many email exchanges with staff at Latin. Our sincere condolences to his wife, Cindy, daughters Carrie and Jamie and their families, and especially to his many grandchildren who delighted him constantly. 1965 Joan Barrett Kellogg Kenneth S. Devoe is pleased to announce that his son, Lucas Devoe, married Aislinn Hinckley on October 22. Both Lucas and Aislinn are from Hamden, CT. Lucas just started his career as an elementary school teacher in the fourth grade at Hamden's West Woods School. Aislinn is a nurse working at a local hospital in Hamden. 1968 Lisa Young Silverstein Phil Manker is developing and finding funding for his new product, ShoeWrapz, a fanciful children's changeable shoe cover (patent pending). Check out the link in Marketplace, and let him know your impression and marketing ideas! 1969 Gail Dugas Ron Pen James Meserow celebrated his 60th birthday with Latin friends Susan Harrington Grove '70, Carol Carpenter Anderson '70, Michele Archambault Rawlinson '69, John Friedman '67, Valerie Wiley '69 and Carole Towne '69. 1971 Stacey Howard Grande Malcolm MacDonald sent along the Class of 1971's informal graduation photo, which he converted to a painting (above). 1972 REUNION YEAR David Grant James Kaplan We are sad to report that David Harrington passed away on May 18, 2011, during a trip touring southern Civil War battlefields. A talented bass guitarist, independent trader of stocks, bonds and commodities, and a loyal friend, David is greatly missed by his friend Barbara, sisters Mary Gardner and Susan Harrington Grove '70, nieces, nephews, friends and classmates from Latin and Culver Military Academy.
