Jake Meister writes: "Hello proud members
of the Latin community! Although I go to
school in Nashville, I find myself spending this
[Spring] semester abroad studying in Barcelona,
Spain. Crazy right? is has been such an eye
opening experience for me and a huge change
from sitting in Mr. Greer's economics class,
although I might not have been paying very
much attention back then. (Shhhh, don't tell.)
My facial hair is not all that's grown while I've
been abroad, I also have been able to truly soak
in the beauties of Europe and travel everywhere
from Italy's beautiful coast, to Germany's
gorgeous cities, to England's bustling capital
of London. I was even in Dublin for St. Patrick's
day…don't worry Ms. Sampey…I'm 21!
Anyway, here's a photo of me and other proud

Walken (Indiana University, Rome). Just
wanted to check in and let you all know how
fantastic it has been and how thankful I am to
Latin for preparing me for a whole range of
experiences. It truly has been great...but I am
craving a classic "Billy Goat" cheeseburger."
