You also can send notes to the Alumni Office at alumni@latinschool.org, and we will forward them to your representative. 1936 Katherine ���Kate��� Barkhausen Geraghty passed away on November 24, 2010 at her home in Harbor Springs, MI. We extend our condolences to her five children, 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, family and friends. 1939 Edward S. Petersen Members of Boys Latin ���50 gathered last summer for a 60th Reunion in Lake Geneva. Can you find them in the team photo below? 46 Latin Magazine Dr. Henry W. Apfelbach died peacefully on January 1, 2011. A Harvard-trained orthopaedic surgeon and instructor, he served in the Navy Medical Corps and was affiliated with the University of Illinois and several local hospitals. In 1959, he became affiliated with Lake Forest Hospital and in 1968, he founded Lake Forest Orthopaedics. We extend our condolences to his friends and extensive family, including his brother Dr. Leonard Apfelbach ���49 and grandsons Nick Hybel ���08 and David Raymond ���09. 1950 Robert Katz The Class of 1950 held its 60th Reunion in August 2010 in Lake Geneva, WI. Larry and Sally Rayner graciously offered their home as a weekend venue for the Reunion. By mutual agreement, spouses were not invited to attend, reflecting the all-male character of the Chicago Latin School in 1950. Members of
