The Peluchiwski Family Endowed Scholarship Fund Bill and I were both raised in families that highly valued education. Our parents did their best, with the means at their disposal, to help us access opportunities to stretch ourselves as students believing that with a good education, we could accomplish anything. For Georgy Ann, who attended an independent school for high school, and for Bill, having attended only public schools, our years as parents of Latin "lifers" helped us see firsthand the value of an independent school education. Latin provides an environment where all students can flourish and emerge with solid writing, computation, and critical thinking skills, close relationships with their peers and faculty, and the confidence to tackle the challenges ahead. The learning community that is created by students of various backgrounds working together is an important part of what makes Latin special. It is our belief that a Latin School education is game changing and should be accessible to any deserving student, regardless of their family resources. We are proud to have been part of this incredible community for the past 16 years. As our time as Latin parents come to a close, we are honored to make a Latin School education a reality for others.
