Roman Connections Events Roman Connections Life After Lunches bring visiting out-of-town alumni to speak with upper school students about varied career paths and jobs. This year, we featured two alumni in the upper school. Attorney, activist, writer and producer Brenda Feigen '62, principal and owner at Feigen Law Group in L.A., practices anti- discrimination and first amendment law, among other things. Feigen was in Chicago to speak at The Chicago Council for Global Affairs about her representation of a woman in North Carolina who was forcibly sterilized under state law in conjunction with a screening of "State of Eugenics." Former Director for Global and Asian Economics Yam Ki Chan '00 recently completed his term with the Obama Administration and was en route to Hong Kong to join Google as Head of Public Policy and Government, and Head of Energy Policy in Asia. Len Barson '72 spoke with eighth grade students on May 5 about his work in environmental and conservation policy for The Nature Conservancy, including a proposed carbon tax on the upcoming Washington State ballot.
