Tilden "Denny" Engelman passed on April 1, 2016. After graduating with undergraduate and M.B.A degrees from Dartmouth, Denny founded Engelman Securities, Inc. in Chicago. Denny served on the board of governors of the Midwest Stock Exchange and as its vice chairman for a number of years. He was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband, a generous friend, and an adviser to many, from businessmen to politicians to leaders of the community. An accomplished skier, tennis player and golfer, Denny founded and served on the Board of the Directors' Invitational Ski Classic, an annual pro-am charity ski event that raised money to provide support for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Foundation, among other beneficiaries. We extend our condolences to his children, Terri, Scott, Tom, Forrest '02 and Trisha '04. 1960 Ruth Burrows Knorring Carol Teuscher Nancy Bunge's latest book, e Midwestern Novel: Literary Populism from Huckleberry Finn to the Present, is now available. Nancy is a professor at Michigan State University and has held senior Fulbright lectureships at the University of Vienna, the Free University of Brussels, the University of Ghent and the University of Siegen, and was a visiting scholar at Harvard Divinity School. Bon appetite! Clark Fetridge writes: "Jean and I welcomed our second grandchild on September 30, 2016: Nicholas William Fetridge. Nicky and his mom are doing quite well, as is his father, Clark Fetridge II '00." 1966 We celebrated a terrific 50th reunion in September! Stories were shared, laughter ensued, and we can't wait to gather again. We recently learned of the death of Bruce Blowitz. Susan Haskins-Doloff '67 penned the following tribute: "Bruce Blowitz died in 2015 of cancer. Bruce made a significant mark at Latin as an irreverent and outspoken 'anti-preppy,' as well as the founder and editor of the school's Beats-influenced literary magazine, Ecco.
