1955 e Class of '55's 60th reunion was one for the record books! We boasted a large turnout, thanks to the dogged efforts of John Evans. Let's gather together again before our 65th! Sybil was the first female senior prefect of the combined Latin School. As an adult, she oversaw the activities for the American Friends of Attingham, an organization supporting the British educational and charitable trust by the same name, often hosting gatherings in her home. She was an accomplished journalist and remained passionate about writing and learning throughout her life. In later years, Sybil was instrumental in founding a lifelong learning program at her senior home. We extend our condolences to her sons, her classmates, and all of her family and friends. 1958 William Kearns passed away on September 11, 2015. After graduating from Princeton, Bill attended the University of Virginia and Columbia University. He was an accomplished architect in private practice for many years in New York. We extend our condolences to his twin brother, Robert, and his family, friends and classmates. 1959 Nancy Baker Cynthia Bardes writes: "e last two years have been very exciting for me. My second book, Pansy in Paris, A Mystery at the Museum has done very well at Bergdorf Goodman, e Metropolitan Museum and independent bookstores. My third picture book for three to seven year olds comes out this fall, Pansy in Venice, e Mystery of the Missing Parrot. My first book, Pansy at the Palace has been adapted for a musical called "Poodleful!" that opened at Riverside eater in Vero Beach, FL in mid-September, then traveled to the Lyric eater in Stuart, FL. e music is fantastic, recorded at Disney Studios, and is on my website. I am working on the fourth book, Pansy In New York, e Mystery of the Missing Monkey with a publication date this fall. Who knows where Pansy the Poodle will lead me? David and I just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, and both of us still love working. We live in Vero Beach and spend three months in Los Angeles (enjoying my 13-year-old granddaughter, Avery, the inspiration for the character in my books.) In our spare time we love to travel. I keep in touch with Moira O'Connor DuBrul. On December 11 and 12, I will be doing a book signing event at Bergdorf in NYC. Stop by and visit."
