Alexis and Bayley are both passionate about telling stories through images.
Bayley, a Latin "lifer," is co-editor of the Roman yearbook and of Vidi, Latin's
photography magazine. Alexis, who came to Latin in ninth grade, won the 2014
Chicagoland High School Film Festival's Best Story award for his two-minute
video about reckless driving. He has created videos for yearbook and a time-
lapsed video for Latin's 125th anniversary and plans to study film in college.
ey agree that the culture at Latin helped them to see the potential for
their class project.
According to Alexis, "Latin pushes you to be creative – and to be you."
A consistent message at school is: "Learn – and do – what you love."
In documenting the women of ROW, Bayley Sherman and Alexis Lopez
are doing just that.
