We are saddened to report that Edward
Crossett French, known affectionately as
"Biff," died peacefully at home in Kentsfield, CA,
on June 19, 2013. An avid golfer, tennis player,
host and pilot, Biff will be missed by his family,
including his wife, Lila, children and stepchildren,
grandchildren, and brother James '51. We
extend our condolences to all who knew Biff.
We are also sorry to report that W. Hurley
Ryan died on September 28, 2013. A longtime
resident of Wilmington, DE, Hurley considered
East Hampton, NY, his home. Our sincere
condolences to his sister Lynn Hummer '53;
sons Hurley Jr. and John; stepdaughter Sarah;
and five grandchildren; as well as his friends
and classmates.
