In Action
Latin's faculty members bring advanced study to their
work with students, with 86% of teachers holding
advanced degrees.
Strong relationships are built over time, with 46% of
current faculty members having taught at Latin for
more than 10 years.
Latin educators are recognized locally and nationally
for excellence in teaching, innovation and service,
including earning the University of Chicago Outstanding
Educator Award, being named a MehtaCognition
Impact Fund Scholar and receiving the National Service
Award from the American Camp Association during the
2025–26 school year.
One Connected Community
From junior kindergarten through 12th grade, students
experience a welcoming community strengthened
by cross-divisional traditions, engaged families,
supportive alumni and relationships that last well
beyond graduation.
In Action
Cross-divisional traditions—including Homecoming,
Romans Fest, Grandpals Day and days of service—bring
students together throughout their Latin journey.
An active Parent Association strengthens the school
community through events, volunteer opportunities
and programming.
An engaged alumni network provides mentorship,
learning experiences and college and career guidance
for current students.
