at every stage of their education.
In Action
A 7.6:1 student-to-teacher ratio fosters trusted
relationships and individualized learning.
Experiential learning begins in the earliest grades
through interdisciplinary projects, educational and
cultural experiences, and other hands-on work.
As students grow, they take greater ownership of their
education through independent inquiry and global
engagement, including Project Week, Independent
Studies and Global Exchanges.
Student Support
Every student is known, challenged and supported
academically, socially and emotionally by
educators who care deeply about their growth
and overall well-being.
In Action
Support evolves as students move across divisions,
adapting to their changing academic, social and
emotional needs.
Teachers and student support professionals, including
counselors, nurses and learning resource specialists,
work together to coordinate academic, social and
emotional support.
A research-based, whole-child approach helps students
develop the confidence, resilience and skills to thrive.
These five competencies reflect what students should know
and be able to do throughout their time at Latin. From their
youngest years through graduation, students build these
competencies through curricular and co-curricular experiences
across all three divisions.
