1999 REUNION YEAR Jeanine Forloine, Abigail Nelson Humphrey, Johanes Maliza, Jos Saldana Valentine Ecker recently joined Howard Ecker + Company where she specializes in representing corporate tenants looking for office space as well as assisting them in the renegotiation of their current lease commitments. Prior to that she was with Centrum Properties for three years where she worked in sales and development of CityFront Plaza, a $100 million residential development. She received her bachelor's degree in political science from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. Jeanine Forloine writes in to share that "I continue to enjoy the challenges of my position as administration manager of a healthcare focused private equity firm, Cressey & Company. I was recently engaged to Eric Chmiel and have just begun the joys of planning the wedding for Fall of 2010. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone this fall for the Class of '99's 10th reunion!" Evelyn Gonzales writes: "I am glad to say that I am finishing up my first year as a high school English teacher for Edinburg High School in Edinburg, TX. I have passed the state test and I am now a certified teacher. It has been a challenge teaching English to 150 public high school students but hopefully after their standardized test next week, I will be able to see the results. I am working with students from lower to middle class families. Most come from a bilingual or mono-lingual (Spanish) home. I am enjoying every minute of it but I do look forward to summer vacation." 1 2 Cara Smith is finishing her second year in graduate school at Purdue, and is having fun being a student again. She is looking forward to seeing everyone at reunion. 2000 Kelly Cameron, Sadath Garcia, Lindsay Hagan, Brad Hanan, Milica Marcetic Cassidy Freeman has spent the last seven months in Vancouver, BC, filming the CW network show "Smallville." When she does get time off, she returns to her home in Santa Monica, CA, where she has lived for almost four years just a mile from her two older brothers, Clark ('95) and Crispin ('90) Freeman. She and Clark are collaborating on a film to shoot this summer called Yellow Brick Road. Erik Hall reports that, "my band NOMO has a busy year coming up. Our fourth album, "Invisible Cities," will be released May 9th on Ubiquity Records, and we'll be touring back and forth between Europe and the U.S. throughout the spring and summer. (See our new Marketplace section for details.) 2001 Jayna Athas, Mark Yoon Andrew Block will be graduating from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government this June with a master's degree in public policy. Andrew interned last summer with the U.S. embassy in Lusaka, Zambia, and is currently advising the British government on ways to improve the international community's response to global conflict situations.
