Alumni Week and
National Latin Day
Held annually in April, Alumni Week helps
students in all divisions understand the
continuity of the Latin community past
graduation. From alumni parents showing off
their yearbooks to our youngest students to
middle schoolers finding "Hidden Romans"
around the school and learning how those
alumni remain involved, Alumni Week has
something for everyone! In the annual alumni
vs. eighth-grade trivia contest made up of
Latin history questions as well as questions
provided by the middle school faculty, Team
Students pulled off the win again this year
and earned bragging rights until next April.
On National Latin Day, local alumni had the
chance to dine with alumni they had never met
before, thanks to Worlds Collide, a concept
organized by
Christopher Deutsch '93.
Alumni around the world tuned in to Latin's
YouTube channel to check out an interview
with
Virgil Williams '88, Oscar nominee and
co-screenwriter of Mudbound. Go you Romans!
