CLASS NOTES 2004 Emma Baumgartner Sean Hoffman Adoley Jordan Lexi Kamerman Sharon Madanes Andrew Peterson Michael Kargman ���04 Michael Kargman passed away on September 4, 2012. A Latin golf team legend for his hole in one, Michael remained an avid golfer who had an amazing swing. We extend our condolences to his parents, Jim ���62 and Heidi, his brother, David ���01, his family, friends and classmates. 2006 Nora Becerra Danielle Carlson Suzanne Fotte Ryan Greenlee Micaela Guajardo Jessica Raic Julia Luscombe received University of Pennsylvania���s Thouron Award, which funds graduate studies in the U.K. Julia plans to study local and international development. 2007 Robert Connelly Charles Connery Pierre Dowden Anthony Hodes Giovanna Marchese Sara Nash William O���Shaughnessy Margaret Wardrop 2008 Alejandro Chaviano Veronica Clarkson George French Mitch Glassner Ella McCann Elaine Rojas-Castillo Abigail Hamilton started as the second grade assistant teacher at Latin this fall. Latin is thrilled to have her back! Lexi Johnson graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton this spring and received departmental honors. Her thesis, titled ���Queering George Bellows and The Question of Gay Art,��� won The Grace May Tilton Prize in Fine Arts, awarded for an outstanding thesis that deals with fine arts and the United States, and the Frederick Barnard White Prize in Art and Archaeology, awarded for the best senior thesis in art and archaeology. Lexi also had an article published this summer in the Collegiate Journal of Art. ���Lyle Ashton Harris: Gender Performativity, Hierarchies, Marginalization, Intersectionalities, Labeling, and Control��� examines Harris��� photograph Brotherhood, Crossroads, Etcetera #2. Ben Joslin recently headed to Zambia���s Northwest Province with the Peace Corps, where he will be working on a community health project for two years. Dana Christy graduated from Vassar College in May 2011. She currently lives in Chicago and works full time as a dance and yoga teacher at Near North Montessori School, teaching children ages 3-14. She also dances and performs around the city with a dance company called Striding Lion. Dana teaches yoga at the Chicago Athletic Clubs and is working toward her prenatal yoga teaching certification.
