Marriages & Unions Marion Norris White 72 & William Robert Bobby Owens, Jr. on April 21, 2012 Stratford Shields, Sasha Austin-Schmidt, Jon Young, Bill Koutsougeras, Brad France, Barb Grant and Linda Oliphant Mitchell. TJ Shanoff 92 & Kerry OTolski on August 12, 2012 (Apologies if we missed someone.) We also spent some of the evening with Judy Kritzberg and her husband. Bistrot Margot tossed us out at midnight and, with some life left, a bunch of us went clubbing until the wee hours of the morning, where the youngest at heart stayed out til nearly dawn.It was a fabulous turnout, and it was lovely to reconnect with good friends and great times past. We remembered those weve lost, including David Lerner, Fred Cohen and just recently Lizz Holmes, and decided five years is probably too long to wait. Jessica DOnofrio 95 & Doug Whitmire on September 18, 2012 Catherine Tasche 95 & Matthew Cirulli on August 18, 2012 BJ Epstein 97 & Fi Woodley on July 2, 2012 Gwane Levey 98 and Lowell Jacobson on July 14, 2012 Brendan DuBois 00 and Emily Pesses on October 6, 2012 We missed those who were part of the conversations leading up to the weekend, including Mark Sloane, Ryan Dunne (recovering from a serious illness), John Montgomery, Neil Stern (who happened to be out of town), Tedd Patel and others. Thanks to Ilyce, Lincoln, Amy, Jennifer and Kathy, who worked so hard to find lost alumni and to put some orange and blue back into our veins. Interested in getting in touch or have a class note to report? Please contact Ilyce at ilyce@ thinkglink.com. If you are on Facebook but not in our Latin Class of 1982 group, please send a request on Facebook to be added. Elizabeth Holmes died on Saturday, August 25, 2012. She had been the first to register for her 30th reunion in September, and everyone was looking forward to seeing her. We extend our condolences to her long-term boyfriend Cam Monge, her parents, Liz and Colgate, and her family, friends and classmates. Kate Schostok 01 & Jonathan Cunha on May 26, 2012 Emily Heroy 03 & Yale Fillingham on May 27, 2012 Lincoln Schatz latest project, The Network, will be unveiled at the Smithsonians National Portrait Gallery as part of its permanent collection on December 11, 2012. Smithsonian Books is publishing his book The Network: Portrait Conversations in tandem with the opening. Representing 89 people in government, business, science, technology and culture, The Network was created by filming each using multiple cameras during a 45-minute conversation, then using custom software that constantly recombines the video based on topic. This generative portrait process enables him to create a dynamic, continuously evolving representation of the similarities and differences between the sitters, free of editorial input. Lizz Holmes 82 Jennifer Levy Antelis writes: To my 40-plus classmates who attended our 30th high school reunion in September, you are an exceptional group of people. It was a GREAT night and everyone seemed to share that sentiment. Im including a recent photo of my son, Myles Isaac. Myles Issac, son of Jennifer Levy Antelis 82, on his first day of preschool this fall. LATI N SCHOOL OF CHI CA GO 63
