UP FRONT Tim Hurd Cam McKinney ���93 Timothy Hurd Tim Hurd is a managing director of Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, a Chicago-based private equity firm. He earned his bachelor���s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Tim currently serves on Latin���s Board of Trustees Finance Committee and on the boards of Nuveen Investments, TransUnion, CapitalSource, Children���s Memorial Foundation and the endowment and investment committee of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He and his wife, Jenny, have two children at Latin: Hailey ���21 and Henry ���24. Cameron McKinney ���93 Cam McKinney is a portfolio manager with William Blair & Company, serving institutional and private wealth management clients. His previous experience includes senior portfolio management positions at The Northern Trust Company advising institutions, business owners and senior executives. He holds a B.A. from Denison University. Cam currently serves on the Finance and Investment Committee for The Illinois Saint Andrew Society and the Latin School of Chicago. He has served on the Latin School of Chicago Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2007, has chaired the Alumni Annual Fund Committee since 2009, and is currently president of the Latin School Alumni Association. He is also involved with Metro Squash, an urban squash and education program. Cam is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of Chicago and Association for Investment Management and Research (CFA Society). He and his wife, Jen, have three children. John Supera ���84 14 L AT I N M AGAZINE Caroline Rogers ���79 Caroline P. Rogers ���79 Caroline P. Rogers is general counsel and senior vice president of DeWindt Corporation. Caroline Rogers holds a B.A. and MBA from Northwestern University and has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 1989. She has been a past chair of the Nature Museum���s auxiliary board and has served as board member and treasurer for the Chicago Association of Retarded Citizens. Caroline has been a devoted volunteer at Latin and currently serves as the new Parent Association president. She and her husband, Geoffrey, also are co-chairs of the Annual Fund. They have a son, Harrison ���17, who attends Latin. John Supera ���84 John Supera is principal of Supera Asset Management, a third-generation Chicago business, where he oversees real estate investment and management activities. John graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in philosophy. He is a 14-year vet of Latin School and was a class representative from 1984-2009. He served on the Alumni Board from 2003-2006. He also has served on the board of the Heller JCC and has worked on various committees at Latin School, Temple Sholom and the Jewish United Fund. He and his daughter are active volunteers at the Lakeview Food Pantry and Uptown Caf��. John is looking forward to joining the Latin School Board of Trustees and following in his father���s footsteps. (Michael Supera served as a trustee from 1979-1985.)
