In Memoriam Crans Baldwin���s son, who bears his same name, recently published a novel, You Lost Me There, to much critical acclaim. Swanson ���27 June 8, 2010 Leslie Van Vlack Waite ���54 March 2010 Clayton Keller writes: ���With our older daughter, Hilary, living in Brooklyn, and our younger daughter, Claire, having just finished high school, my wife, Susan, and I decided to pack up our nest and escape Minnesota winters. We now live in Doha, Qatar in the Gulf region of the Middle East as I���ve taken a position as an Associate Professor of Special Education at Qatar University (though we���ll be back in St. Paul and Wisconsin where we have a cabin in the summers.) If any alumni (particularly from ���72) are either living in Qatar or the Gulf or will be traveling through, please let me know.��� 1975 REUNION YEAR Peter Bastone Steven Field Caroline Nadler Healy writes: ���As some of you may know, our classmate Caroline Markham who attended Latin through eighth grade, struggled with stage IV breast cancer several years ago. Luckily she is one of the ���good statistics��� and is a survivor. Caroline Markham, my daughter Caroline, and I walked together in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in summer 2010: we are ���in it to end it���.��� Her daughter Caroline is a sophomore pre-med student at Trinity College in Hartford, CT and worked on several breast cancer research projects at Northwestern Memorial Hospital last summer. Marguerite Horberg has started a new not-for-profit called portoluz (harbor of light), under development as a performing arts center, restaurant, artist���s residence and community gardens. She writes, ���Hello everyone, I was prompted to write after I received the Homecoming and Reunion Weekend invitation in the mail yesterday and saw that our class is up for a 35th year reunion ��� which I am sure as everyone else has said, that is not possible! 35 years? Arrgh. Hope to catch up with me old mates from back in the day in October at the Reunion. I still keep up with Michael Weinstein, Marc Sahe, Albert Berger, Frances O���Cherony and Richard Archer ��� find me on Facebook if you wish.��� Marguerite lives in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. Latin has recently learned that Lauren Lamensdorf Chejfec passed away at home on April 10, 2008 after a long illness. Despite her failing health, she never lost the bite of her wit, her sense of humor or her passion for life. She received degrees from Smith College and Georgetown Law School. Our condolences to her husband, Hector, her son, her stepdaughter and her many friends and family members. Brendan Tripp sends greetings to the Class of ���75. 1976 Mimi Lutwak Fitzgerald Tracey Rappaport Greenwood Jeffrey Siegel Gwynne Stewart Douglas writes: ���As many of you know from Facebook, this year I turned 50 years old and my daughter gave birth to my first grandchild. We named him Stewart, which was my maiden name. He was born on Memorial Day in Huntsville, Texas, where I came 29 years ago to do a one-year master���s program in criminal justice and ended up staying.
