Lower School Pajama Day
up front
Latin lower schoolers collected more than
500 pairs of pajamas on their fifth annual
Pajama Day in April. This year the pajamas
were distributed to Christopher House and
Kaliedescope, Inc., two organizations that
16
Latin Magazine
serve young children in the Chicago area.
As a reward for their efforts, students and
teachers got to spend the day in their pjs!
The Pajama Day drive is only one of the
many successful community service projects
the lower school hosts throughout the year.
Some of the organizations that benefit from
their various efforts include Gildas Club of
Chicago, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly,
the Anti-Cruelty Society, Jane Addams Hull
House Association, Comer Childrens Hospital,
Northwestern Settlement House and the
Walter Payton Foundation.
