Volleyball
With a nal record of 33-5-1, there were
many highlights this season. e team
started strong with the win at the ISL Top
Flight Tournament and was undefeated
in the month of September, including a
rst place nish at the Timothy Christian/
Westmont Invitational. Leading up to
the state playos, the team traveled to
St. Louis for the MICDS Invite, taking
rst at the tournament for the second
year in a row. State playos in the 3A
Class was a challenge, but the team
rose to the occasion, winning both
Regional and Sectional championships.
e Romans made an appearance in
their second Super-Sectional match in
school history (consecutive), and won
the ISL Conference with an 11-0 record.
Charlotte Cronister '19 was named the
ISL Player of the Year.
