Preparing students for what comes after Latin is as individualized as the rest of our curriculum. College counselors work one-on-one with students to match their interests and strengths with the best-fit schools. Throughout the process, students are practicing the leadership and advocacy skills that will ensure a successful transition. Highlights of our college counseling process: n Grade 11 curriculum focused on school research process n Grade-level programming n Financial planning meetings n Direct advocacy n Family counseling meetings n Informal coffees and Q&As with the counselors n Four on-site college counseling staff A growing number of students pursue their passions during a gap year before college. Gap experiences have included training service dogs, teaching English in Latin America, outdoor education in New Zealand and community health work.
