Cassandra Burrows writes: "I had a baby girl
this year on January 2, Sagan Burrows. We are
over the moon! My other update is that my band
put out an album which folks can listen to online:
https://troublewithkittens.bandcamp.com. For
now, I'm taking a hiatus from music projects to
hang out with my little girl."
Sarah Samuels married Jason Taylor on
October 16, 2016 in Lake Tahoe, CA. Brother
Ben '02 and husband Bob Vasquez celebrated
with the couple, as did Ashley Quinto
Powell and husband Sean Powell.
"Latin's academics were excellent and many of
the teachers meant a great deal to me. To see
what Latin has added to the students' experiences
today and how diverse it has become is terrific."
With this and gratitude for her own years at
the school in mind, Frances Barrow '68 has
made Latin a part of her estate plans. Including
Latin in her will makes sense "for what it gave
me and clearly gives students today," she says.
