Class Notes Alumni Association Words from the Alumni Association President Fellow Romans, Each year, more and more of you generously donate your time and expertise to help others in the Latin alumni community. I am always impressed by (and grateful for) the new ways that you find to lend assistance to other Romans. is past year, more than 500 of you volunteered in an astounding variety of roles. From chatting with prospective families at admissions open houses to speaking directly with students in classes or clubs, you have directly supported the school's mission and enhanced the experience of our current students. Our peer-leading alumni involvement is an important part of what continues to make a Latin education unique. No less important was the support you lent to our wide range of alumni programs. To those that served on host committees for regional and local events, to those that assisted in reunion planning, to those that helped with Latin Professionals Evening and our industry-specific networking groups: thank you! Special thanks to my colleagues on the Alumni Association board of directors, not only for putting up with me, but for always going above and beyond the call of duty. For those of you who have not yet become involved, there are more opportunities than ever to participate. From our innovative "virtual mentoring" program to our the full calendar of regional events, even those alumni outside of Chicago can reconnect and give back to the Latin community. If you haven't already, please join our Latin Alumni group on LinkedIn. You can exchange professional information and make yourself available for younger alumni who are seeking career path advice. If you're interested in learning more about ways that you can lend a hand, please reach out to me directly and I'll be happy to help. While we are grateful for all the time you make for Latin, I'd be remiss if I did not mention the extensive financial support that you provide. Your contributions to the Latin Fund and the endowment, as well as your efforts in getting classmates to give, are crucial in maintaining Latin's firm financial foundations. anks to all of you, once again, for all that you do for Latin.
