Tomorrow is now | 3 EndowmEnT: A sTrong FoundATion Building our endowment is the most important investment we can make. Staying true to our mission, we will invest in the people and programs that define Latin and our future. Endowment supports students and their families, our faculty and staff, and all aspects of the Latin curriculum every year. Our foundation is our future. Latin School is a place of learning and teaching excellence, not because of our brick and mortar buildings, but because of the people who have built Latin's legacy every day since 1888. e visionary Mabel Slade Vickery was only the beginning. Since then thousands of students and their families have passed through our doors, adding to that foundation and challenging us to continuously improve and sustain this great school's mission. With gratitude, we acknowledge those before us who have put their ideas, hard work and resources into the school that we know today. In equal measure, we recognize our responsibility to live up to Latin's history of wise giving, so that the next generation can look back on us with the same appreciation. We fortify that foundation through the permanence of endowment. We list names of alumni and students on each page to illustrate how, by working together, we can create a more agile and innovative school, supporting everything that makes Latin excellent for generations to come." –Randall Dunn, Head of School
