One thing we hear students and alumni say is that Latin feels like a second home to them. This sense of belonging begins in the classroom and extends to athletics, clubs and activities. Two qualities our faculty and staff share: an unmistakable warmth and affection for their students and a commitment to ensuring that every one feels successful. The relationships that students build with each other, their teachers, coaches, counselors, advisors and deans are at the heart of the Latin experience. Here you will feel at home. Here you will feel at home. LATIN'S AVERAGE STUDENT-TO-FACULTY RATIO Roman Traditions Our school traditions and annual events are ways for us to connect our community. Here are just some of the ways we come together: n Convocation n upper school retreats n Homecoming pep rallies n Romans Run n MLK day of service n middle school day of service n lower school Olympics n Say it with Sweets n Alumni Week n mentor programs n buddy activities Our students celebrate each other's achievements, talents and differences in countless ways at morning assemblies, student art exhibits, plays and performances, during senior projects, class days and pep rallies.
