Latin School is deeply grateful to the current 1888 Society members: Beginning in 1888 with a class of 10 boys, Latin School of Chicago has inspired and prepared generations of students to lead lives of purpose and excellence. One hundred and twenty-six years later, Latin continues to provide an exceptional educational experience in a community of talented students, faculty and alumni. workshops at Fox Valley libraries. He also has taught English and creative writing at UIC, Kishwaukee College (Malta), and Marmion Academy (Aurora). He lives in Geneva with his wife and, when they are home for a weekend meal or vacation, his son and daughter. PaMela zeiSler Sandine writes: "I recently sold my Chicago condo and am now a full- time resident of South Florida. I bought a house in the Delray Beach area. Not missing Chicago snow at all! Playing lots of tennis and trying to improve my golf game. I still get to Chicago on occasion. Enjoy traveling when it's too warm here in the summer." 1968 Lila Young Silverstein FranceS Barrow lives in Israel, volunteers with the Tel Aviv Tourist Office, and loves it! She will travel to New York for the month of April and again in August to spend time with her dad. She is looking forward to a visit from Mary wolBach loPert and her husband later in the year. PhiliP Manker died on November 8, 2014 after a long illness. He was an applied artist, inventor and arborist and is dearly missed.
