Jimmy died of a sudden heart attack in his sleep on December 14 and leaves behind his mother, Helen Adinamis, his adored siblings katy adinaMiS Sutter '75 and John adinaMiS '80, a loving extended family, and close friends who just won't know a world without him in it. Jim's gift was the way he lit up any room he entered. And he didn't just organize our recent class reunion. He was its mayor. at was Jimmy. Shorey has a really exciting new project, and he is about to break ground for phase one, in the spring or early summer of 2015: 'J. Shorey launches BIGGEST (nuttiest) project ever! After three years of preliminary work, we are excited to announce the launch of e Foundry Project, a bold redevelopment plan to transform a closed iron foundry (located on eight acres in the inner east side of Cleveland) into a completely sustainable farm. is is a for-profit commercial project. In phase one, we expect to raise 500,000 lbs./year of branzino (Mediterranean sea bass) in an enclosed (bio-secure/no hormones, no antibiotics) re-circulating aquatic system (RAS) facility. In phase two we will add a second RAS line producing coho salmon! e fish waste will be used to cultivate a variety of crops, possibly including non-THC hemp for the medical industry (Parkinson's, treatment of seizures, MS, strokes). We also will have sheep (grazed on adjacent cemeteries), fruit trees and bees. A farmers market will be open on weekends to provide fresh food for local folks.
