2 Greetings from the Head of School Dear Friends, We have all been thinking about this event for many months now and it feels good to finally be here. This year's "think" theme is so appropriate for Latin. As a learning community, we know that the more thought that goes into something, the more engaged people are in the outcome. But as a caring and supportive community, we know that it is not enough to think – you must also act. And it is that desire to act that brings us together for all Latin students. There are some people who have been particularly active in making this event a reality and I am beyond grateful for all they have done. I'd like to thank our co-chairs, Nancy Dwyer and Daione Mitchell, for their extraordinary energy and commitment, as well as their army of volunteers for their hard work. I would also like to acknowledge the enthusiasm of donors and bidders that makes our event one of the most successful in the country. The funds we raise are directly invested in the people and programs that make Latin such an exceptional school. Just a quick glance through this program book will be enough to convince you that there are people all over this city not only thinking about supporting our students, but acting on it with incredible generosity. I share my appreciation for our donors on behalf of the entire student body and our faculty and staff. I think this is going to be a great evening. Enjoy! Randall Dunn
