Alumni Events Early summer brought a fundraising event in D.C. and our traditional end-of-year events. On a gorgeous spring afternoon last May, Sara and Jeremy Ebie '96 hosted a young alumni Scholarship Dinner on their rooftop in the nation's capitol. Dave Diaz '88 recapped his remarks from the Chicago event in February, and everyone enjoyed the Ebies' gracious hospitality while supporting Latin's financial aid program. At June's Once A Roman, Always a Roman reception, we welcomed a few departing middle schoolers to the Alumni Association. Middle school director Deb Sampey and Randall Dunn invited students to visit anytime, and promised that they are still just as much a part of the Latin family as their classmates who will stay through graduation. e Alumni Association also hosted the Senior Luncheon just before graduation, welcoming the graduating students into their new status as alumni. e Class of 2014 chose upper school faculty member and dean Nick Baer '96 to provide remarks and honored former faculty member Gene Gross with the dedication of the class gift. We also celebrated our volunteers and donors at the annual Alumni Leadership Luncheon, held this year at e Signature Room at the Hancock Building. With a room full of volunteer leaders and donors, upper school director Ted Graf shared insights into the intellectual life at Latin and Randall Dunn thanked everyone for their dedication and service to Latin. Please mark your calendars for alumni gatherings in New York on January 13 and Boston on February 24! A L U M N I Young Alumni Scholarship Dinner in D.C. Senior Luncheon 52 L AT I N M A G A Z I N E
