Classmates Carole Towne and John Himmel joined her at the awards ceremony. 1971 Stacey Howard Grande Shar Carlyle, director of Kidney Community Education in San Rafael, was one of eight patient advocates selected to represent Californians on Capitol Hill early this May. Carlyle met with government leaders to discuss two key issues that will improve the treatment and quality of life for millions of Californians suffering from kidney ailments. 1974 Mary Haber Interested in what's happening with our classmates? A reality television program in England from Channel Four, 'Four in a Bed,' filmed five episodes with me, over two and a half weeks!" 1976 Tracey Rappaport Greenwood Jeff Siegel Tracey Rappaport Greenwood writes: "Hello everyone…Happy 56th birthday. Yikes! Recently, I heard from Gregg Garmisa, who is enjoying his new position as principal and general counsel, at the internationally renowned Studio Gang Architects firm. His son, Ben, turned 28 in April and is the communications director for Congressman Steve Cohen in Washington, D.C. His daughter, Sarah, turned 30 in May, and lives in San Francisco. Sarah will soon be returning to school to pursue a dual MBA and Master's in Public Policy at Mills College. His wife, Lauren Beth Gash, also celebrates her birthday this spring. Gregg informed me that it is now official that both of his children are older than their parents! Lauren is enjoying her role as a commissioner with the Illinois Human Rights Commission and continues as a leader of the Democratic party on the North Shore."
