A L U M N I from Cam McKinney '93 Alumni Association President What a year! As the year-long celebration of Latin's 125th anniversary comes to a close, the charge to our alumni community is to maintain this feeling of pride in our alma mater, to remember how Latin has shaped our lives, and to continue fostering this feeling of connection to one another. e Alumni Association is dedicated to enhancing our role as facilitator, gateway and connector of people, places, ideas and opportunities for the Latin community. Our goal is to be a resource for alumni and students throughout the progression of their personal and professional lives, and to steward a culture and tradition of giving back to the school. "The charge to our alumni community is to maintain this feeling of pride in our alma mater, to remember how Latin has shaped our lives, and to continue fostering this feeling of connection to one another." 40 L AT I N M A G A Z I N E By giving of your time, talent and resources, you are an invaluable part of this effort. I am very thankful to each of you for helping us continue to build an alumni community through which we all benefit, and which benefits current students as they follow in our footsteps. As you peruse the photos from various alumni events this winter and spring, I hope you see evidence of how the Association and Alumni Office are working toward our goals. e feedback has been tremendous, and we all owe a debt of gratitude to the 24/7 energy of the Alumni Office and those on the Alumni Association Board of Directors who made these experiences so meaningful. Whether you attended an event in Chicago or elsewhere, participated in the anniversary by sending in a story or a recipe for the 125th Anniversary Cookbook, answered a young alum's request for an informational interview or reached out to tell your Latin friends and teachers that they made a difference in your life, you have been creating the community we aspire to be. anks to each of you for making this 125th year such a wonderful success. Sincerely, Cam McKinney
