° B.J. Epstein '97 a new book, Are the Kids All Right?, in October 2013. The book is about B.J. Epstein published representations of LGBTQ people in books for children and young adults. Natasha Buchanan '98 °Natasha's new book, Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship: Transdisciplinary Approaches to Personalized Care is available on the Oncology Nursing Society web site link ons.org/publications. Natasha, Nikki Hawkins and Loria Pollack co-authored Chapter 22, entitled, "Personalizing Information to Meet Survivors' Needs." This new textbook, edited by Joanne Lester and Patricia Schmitt, takes an interdisciplinary approach to looking at physical, psychosocial and practical aspects of cancer survivorship. Enterprising °ABen Hollis '72 of Ben's favorite early segments from his popular show Wild hand-picked selection Chicago will be released on DVD and On Demand in November. The Golden Age of Wild Chicago will premiere in November at the historic Patio Theater followed by a Q&A with Ben. Stacy Morgenstern °Stacy's Boy Meets Girl®Igel '95 Dance® teamed up for STYLE 360 at New York Fashion and Just Week in September. Known for drawing inspiration from the biggest musical and fashion influences in pop culture, Stacy created her entire Spring 2014 line around the style, look and energy of Just Dance 2014, the latest installment in the Just Dance franchise. Amanda Stanhaus '09 °Amanda empowers young women to become financially literate with her fabulous and frugal persona, Bettie. Bettie's blog explains bank accounts to investment accounts, as well as the inevitable bumps along the way. Each post is signed "XO, Bettie" which is reflected as well in the blog's address: xobettie.com. Christine °Christine, a Vacin '01 social worker, has developed an adjunct program to her other clinical licensed clinical work that uses a holistic approach combining counseling and physical fitness to process issues that are stored in the body. The mission of "F.I.T." (Fitness Integrative Therapy) is to help improve clients' self esteem, negative self talk and internal messaging while developing healthy attainable goals. Increasing physical strength can simultaneously increase emotional health and help aid the understanding of one's true capabilities.
