See Marketplace for more information. Carrie Loomis '08 and Alex Drake '08, happily married. Carrie Loomis and Alex Drake wed on June 15, 2013 at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. "Alex and I were lucky enough to be joined by many fellow alums to celebrate our wedding, including classmate members of the wedding party Caitlin Kaulas, Julie Peterson, Yassar Bittar and Emin Topalovic. Fun fact: We met sophomore year at Latin in Mr. Legendre's honors chemistry class." 2009 Bridget Ansel Rachel Borders Andrew Davis Graham Peigh Sydney Stanback Corinne White Krizia Lopez was selected as a 2013-2014 Amanda Stanhaus is educating young women Fulbright Scholar and in September began working with the Nicaraguan deaf community to document the substantial human rights advances and socioeducational changes for the deaf that resulted from the development of Nicaraguan Sign Language over the past 40 years. She reports: "During my trip to Nicaragua, I will also work on improving access to technology by working with Google, my post-fellowship employer. As a native Chicagoan, it has been incredibly interesting learning how to penetrate another massive market such as New York, but the skills and characteristics instilled in me during my time at Latin as well as my four years at Syracuse University have undoubtedly played a role in the success I have found thus far. I look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in my pursuit of a successful career in the sports business world.
