PR I O R I TY I I
Our students
gain the most
when they are
physically and
emotionally well.
Research and experience conclusively
indicate that higher-order thinking, creativity,
performance, and engagement all rely on
student energy and self-confidence. We will
strengthen practices that encourage students
to reflect on their choices, develop skills that
preserve health, and build a community that
values the wellness and self-confidence of each
member. In pursuing this priority, we will engage
our parent community in a dialogue about
how best to promote our children's academic
development and happiness.
We are also committed to promoting the
wellbeing of our faculty and staff and will
encourage adults in our community to meet their
own needs as they fulfill their responsibilities.
