Support at Latin For more than a century, philanthropy has been essential to enriching the experience of every Latin student. Today, charitable giving remains at the core of what makes Latin a leading educational community. Because tuition covers only 85% of the actual cost of a Latin education, contributions from parents, guardians, alumni, grandparents, corporate partners, faculty, staff and friends bridge the gap. These gifts ensure that students at every grade level benefit fully from all that Latin offers—an education that encourages Romans to explore their passions, discover their purpose and grow into their fullest selves. $1,881,264 SCHOLARSHIP DINNER $2,287,875 LATIN FUND Annual Giving (2024–25) TOTAL $4,169,139 The LATIN FUND is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts each year, helping us recruit and retain outstanding faculty and staff and provide an innovative and dynamic school environment. We strive for 100% parent/guardian participation on an annual basis to help fuel every program and initiative at the school. Every year, Latin hosts an all-school fundraising event, alternating between ROMANS RAISE & REVEL and SCHOLARSHIP DINNER. These events bring together our community of parents/guardians, faculty and staff. Last year's event raised more than $1.8 million, which bolstered our $5.6 million commitment to financial aid and helped provide nearly 150 students with scholarships. In addition to our annual funding support, donors make legacy gifts that include donations to our ENDOWMENT and PLANNED GIFTS. Contributions to our endowment safeguard our school and ensure its financial stability. Likewise, planned gifts are an important way for members of our community to make a commitment through their trust or estate plans. Both of these long-term investments provide permanent support for scholarships, professional development, athletics, learning resources and more. Financials 11 A N N UA L R E P O R T 2 0 24 / 2 5
