Latin School of Chicago is committed is committed to making a Latin education possible for families from socioeconomically diverse backgrounds. The Financial Aid Office strives to assist families for whom the cost of an independent school education is the only barrier to attendance. All financial aid awards offered will cover the student's full demonstrated need. Latin has a need-sensitive financial aid policy. This means that all admitted students demonstrating need will be funded, but the number of students needing financial aid who can be admitted is restricted based on the budget. All students, regardless of race, color, sex, gender identity, religion, disability, national origin, ancestry or sexual orientation, are eligible for financial aid. "Financial aid has positively impacted my Latin experience by allowing me to focus on my classes and extracurriculars without having financial worries. I can participate in Project Weeks, clubs, sports, etc. knowing I have the school's support." Upper school student "I feel as though Latin supports students and families in the financial aid program by creating close connections with its participants."
