MARKETPLACE HIGHLIGHT
T.J. Shanoff '92 : writer of the
music and lyrics for the smash
hit musical "Rod Blagojevich,
Superstar" staged by Chicago's
own comedic institution, The
Second City. The show was
such a success that it soon
moved to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, where it plans
to run through May, if not longer. The show has received
national press coverage (including a feature on NBC's "Today
Show"), and T.J has already been commissioned for a followup show based on the musical "Rent", featuring AIG and
Bernie Madoff. Finally, T.J has just been named a director of
the Second City National Touring Company, where he'll be
creating Second City's 50th Anniversary Touring show.
