Please join us in welcoming our new trustees: Suzanne Gignilliat Suzanne Gignilliat is a Realtor at Koenig & Strey, where she specializes in high-end residential real estate on the north side of Chicago. Prior to her career in real estate, Ms. Gignilliat worked in advertising at DDB Worldwide. She is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., 1980) and of Northwestern University (M.A., 1983). She currently is active in a variety of philanthropic organizations, but most notably, fundraising for the Yale Club Foundation, where she is the director of the Community Service Fellowship program. Ms. Gignilliat has been a grade chair at Latin, and along with her husband, Tom Hinkes, chaired the Latin School Annual Fund for two years. She continues to be on the Development Committee. Suzanne and Tom have two children at Latin: Paul, in eleventh grade, and Philip, in fifth grade. Gary T. Johnson Gary T. Johnson became the eighth president of the Chicago History Museum in 2005. Prior to that, he had a career as a corporate lawyer, most recently at the international law firm Jones Day. He is a graduate of Yale University (A.B., 1972); the University of Oxford, where he earned a master's degree in modern history and was a Rhodes Scholar; and Harvard Law School (1977). He is on the executive committee of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and has served as its national co-chair. He also is a member of the radio committee of WFMT. Mr. Johnson and his wife, Susan, have three grown children. Mr. Johnson is a lifelong resident of the Chicago area. David Koo David Koo is senior partner of RoundTable Healthcare Partners, a healthcare focused private equity buyout firm based in Lake Forest, IL. He received a bachelor's degree in administration and accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and is a certified public accountant. He serves on the boards of RoundTable's portfolio companies and the John G. Shedd Aquarium, is a director of Swedish Covenant Hospital, and is a vice president of the board of directors of Hanul Family Alliance (a not-for-profit social service organization serving seniors and families in the Chicago Korean community). He also serves on the Wall Street Leadership Committee and the Sorin Society Founder's Circle at the University of Notre Dame, and is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Koo and his wife, Lesly (Latin Class of 1988), have three children. Daughters Maddie, second grade, and Vivian, senior kindergarten, are enrolled at Latin. Their son, Nathan, is a toddler. Lara Shipp Shiffman '85 Lara Shipp Shiffman is the codirector of the Chicago office of The Patton Group, a national firm that specializes in public relations, events and integrated marketing. She received her bachelor's of science degree in communications from Boston University. Ms. Shiffman serves on the executive board of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and on Latin's Alumni Board. She and her husband, Marc, have two sons, Brandon and Ryder.
