Onward & Upward
Each year, Latin's culminating events serve
as a way to recognize and honor the many
shared achievements.
Though slightly different last school year due
to the circumstances of the COVID-19
pandemic, graduation ceremonies, award
presentations and inductions into our
academic societies of Cum Laude and
Erasmus represent some of the longest-
standing traditions at Latin and speak to
the core of what we stand for as a school
— a devotion to excellent teaching and
learning, a faithfulness to our school
community, and a shared desire to live
and work with integrity. For students
marking a major transition — whether
to a new division or to college —
these events are exciting and
future-focused. For teachers,
staff and trustees, they are
opportunities to acknowledge
outstanding teaching, tenure
and volunteer leadership over
the course of many years.
