Fall Season 2019 Highlights
Athletics
GIRLS GOLF
e girls golf team had its best
season in program history!
Ten wins with only one loss in
dual matches, a first sectional
championship, strong finishes
at all 18-hole tournaments
and a seventh place at the state
tournament in Decatur were
all products of a hard-working
and close-knit team. Each of
the players improved in many
aspects of her game and showed
grit and heart throughout the
season, especially in a close
five-stroke victory over St. Viator
at sectional, which resulted in the
first team banner hanging in the
Field Gym. Much gratitude to the
nine seniors who have grown the
program over the last four years
into one of the best in Illinois.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
e girls volleyball team continued
its legacy of dominance in the
Independent School League (ISL),
finishing 7-0 in conference.
Outside of conference play, the
team rose to the occasion several
times against Class 3A and 4A
schools with regular-season victories
over St. Ignatius, Lake Forest,
St. Viator, Jones, Glenbard South
and Glenbrook South on top of an
IHSA regional championship.
