Luke Vogelzang '11 The Arts at Latin Arts programs at Latin inspire creativity, encourage students to pursue their passions and provide avenues to develop new skills. From junior kindergarten through twelfth grade, students grow their appreciation of the arts, while also creating their own art. Performing and visual arts are integral to Latin's curriculum, and students have many extracurricular opportunities to share their art with others through concerts, plays, art exhibits and competitions. Arts resources and facilities • middle and upper school art studios, lower school art room • photography lab and darkroom • multimedia production lab • band room • chorus room • four music practice areas • lower school music room • two art galleries • 500-seat theater • scene shop • costume room • lower school kiln "One of the best experiences I've had at Latin was an art project I worked on when I arrived in sixth grade. We had to draw a self-portrait. It was the first time I realized that I might actually be a good artist." – MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT
