In the Middle School The middle school program focuses on skills building, participation and giving students an opportunity to explore various sports. We strive for inclusiveness and students can almost always participate in the sport of their choice. About 75 percent of students play in at least one sport. Upon finishing their middle school athletics experience, students will be physically and mentally prepared for the more competitive and demanding upper school athletics program. The Roman 5s, fifth grade athletics program, introduces fifth graders to the same sports that are offered in the older grades but on a reduced practice and play schedule that is focused on skills development.
