Starting in the lower school, Latin athletics are one more way the school helps each student realize the full range of his or her talents and abilities. Our interscholastic program strives to develop confident, enthusiastic and disciplined athletes who use their full physical potential and learn the value of teamwork and the importance of sportsmanship. Our program seeks to develop leadership and cooperative skills in our athletes, while encouraging a life-long love for sports and fitness. In the past decade • Girls soccer won the state championship • Latin took multiple conference, regional and sectional titles in volleyball, softball, basketball, tennis, boys water polo, soccer, baseball, cross country and track • Latin athletes were state qualifiers in girls and boys track, girls and boys golf, girls and boys cross country, girls and boys swimming and girls and boys tennis • At least 15-20 Latin graduates have moved on each year to play on college athletic teams in all divisions
