Alumni in Tech at Table XI
In January, Ashley Quinto Powell '00 and Mark
Yoon '01 hosted fellow alumni in the technology
field at Table XI for an evening of networking.
Leadership Luncheon
On May 29, we hosted more than 70 alumni lead
volunteers and donors at the Tortoise Supper
Club. e lunch featured a keynote with
computer science faculty members Fiona
Deeney and Bobby Oommen, who
discussed CS curriculum and initiatives
in the lower and middle school. Carole
Towne '69 received the Edwin S. Van
Gorder, III Award in recognition of her
extraordinary service to Latin through
volunteer effort and devotion to the school.
Senior Luncheon
On Monday, June 3, President Jenny Cizner
welcomed the Class of 2019 into the Latin Alumni
Association during the annual Senior Luncheon.
Science Department faculty member Amy Merrell
shared her aspirations for the class, the soon-to-be
grads tested their knowledge in class trivia, and the
senior class representatives presented the Senior
Class Gift, through which 87% of the class is
providing funding for financial aid in honor of dean
Joe Edwards and former dean Faye Wells.
