The black-currant character of this wine is beautifully balanced by its tannic structure. What a gem to find here tonight as it is a rare and luxurious item for a wine connoisseur. This 1970 Vintage Chateau Lafite-Rothschild has been kept in a temperature-controlled wine cellar since its original purchase in the 1970s. The donors are the original owners of this fine wine.
