Dear Latin Community, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to Romans Raise & Revel. This event was born out of the desire to celebrate—and revel—in the fact that our students consider Latin a second home. That sense of belonging is unique to the Latin experience, and something we want every student and family to feel. For that reason, we felt that staying "at home" was important tonight. We also hope to raise—both dollars and spirit—in support of our financial aid program. We know that a rising tide lifts all boats, and our ability to offer support to students and families who would not otherwise be able to afford Latin makes for a richer, more dynamic learning environment for all of our students. I want to thank our co-chairs, Briana & Michael Fosnaugh and Lesly & David Koo. This evening would not be possible without their extraordinary vision and leadership. I am also grateful for the hard work of all our volunteers and the generous donations from parents, faculty and staff for our amazing auction. Finally, my appreciation goes to our facilities and operations teams for transforming our school so beautifully for this occasion. We have so much to celebrate, Romans…our students, our community and our shared commitment to excellent teaching and learning. Your generosity makes it possible. Let's raise the tide tonight and lift up all of our students. Enjoy the evening. My best, Randall Dunn Head of School 12
