Dear Romans, As the newest in an illustrious line of Alumni Association leaders, I am thrilled to be working so closely with alumni of all eras and to represent the Latin alumni community. Collectively, we represent decades of Latin traditions, diverse life and professional experiences, expertise and knowledge. During my three-year tenure in this position, I will focus on harnessing this special collection of unique experiences by our alumni and connect us together as one community. Working closely with the Association Board of Directors and Alumni Office, we will strive to offer resources and opportunities meaningful to alumni from every era of the community and make sure you are up to date on all of the exciting programs and offerings happening at Latin today. From time to time you may hear from me, the Alumni Office, or other Latin alums with special requests to represent the Latin alumni community and share your expertise and experience with current students and younger alums. Jenny Cizner '95 Alumni Association President alumnipresident@latinschool.org Jenny Cizner, a member of the Latin School Class of 1995, is currently the chief operating officer at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. She previously served as the director of strategic partnerships and global affairs for the City of Chicago in the administration of Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Prior to her work with the City of Chicago, she served as the deputy chief of staff for presidential personnel at the White House and first joined the White House as the director for the energy and environment cluster within that office. Before joining the Obama administration, she worked on President Obama's 2008 campaign committee. She graduated with a B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
