Denise Gibson was a marketing manager and consultant for American Express and has worked in political and nonprot development. Denise is a current board member of the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation and is a past board member and marketing director for the Northwind Soccer Club of Chicago. She holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. At Latin, Denise has held a number of Latin Parent Association positions, including grade chair, teacher appreciation and middle school newsletter committees, and served as co-chair of Latin's 2018 Scholarship Dinner. Jyoti D. Patel, M.D., is professor of medicine and the director of chest oncology at the University of Chicago, overseeing and developing all translational and clinical research eorts in lung cancer at the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is the principal investigator of multiple clinical trials, and she serves on numerous national and international cancer committees. In addition, she is an accomplished educator and has been recognized for her teaching skills as well as her innovative work in curriculum development. Jyoti received her B.A. in English literature from Northwestern University and her M.D. from Indiana University, and she did her postgraduate training at Northwestern University and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Jennifer Prewitt has a professional background in brand marketing. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Chicago Children's Museum and has served on alumni and advisory boards for her high school alma mater, Culver Academies. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Duke's Fuqua School of Business. Since joining the Latin community, Jennifer has co-chaired the 2017 Love Latin Gala, served in grade chair and event ambassador roles, and is a member of the Development Committee. Diane Saltoun is the executive inspector general for the Oce of the Illinois Attorney General and is currently a member of the Seventh Circuit Committee on Pattern Criminal Jury Instructions. Diane has served as a trustee of High Jump, Lycee Francais de Chicago, Court eatre, Los Amigos de Las Americas - Chicago Urban Chapter and is the Founders District Nominating chair for the Boy Scouts of America. Diane has held a number of positions with Latin's Parent Association, including grade chair, co-vice president of the upper school and co-president of the Parent Association. Valerie Vlahos is a lawyer and certied public accountant. She spent 25 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she specialized in tax consulting, transaction and compliance services. Valerie has served as president of the Professional Women's Club of Chicago, the Corporate Champions Board at Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, the United Way Campaign Committee for PwC, and the Emerge Board at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Valerie holds both an accounting and a law degree from Ohio State University. At Latin, she has held various Parent Association positions, including sixth-grade co-chair, eighth-grade co-chair and co-chair of the Corporate Sponsorship Committees for multiple Scholarship Dinner events. She currently serves on Latin's Finance Committee and the school's Audit Committee. Sunhee Lee is a former member of the rms of Paul Hastings in Tokyo and Sidley Austin in Chicago, where she worked with domestic and international clients in structured nance, asset securitization and secured lending, with additional pro-bono work in fair housing, small business representation and immigration. Sunhee has served on the boards of Asian Americans Advancing Justice Chicago and CARE Chicago Women's Initiative, and she continues to volunteer with several philanthropic and legal services organizations in Chicago. Sunhee holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. At Latin, she has held multiple positions on the Parent Association, including leadership recruiting chair, events chair, grade chair and publicity chair for multiple Auction events. She currently serves as president of the Parent Association. Jenny Cizner '95 is the chief operating ocer of Chicago's Council on Global Aairs where she is responsible for overseeing the internal management of the council sta. She also leads a strategic planning process to ensure the council develops and executes a strategy to be recognized as one of the premier institutions in the country on global aairs. Jenny previously served as the director of strategic partnerships and global aairs for the City of Chicago. Prior to that, Jenny served as the deputy chief of sta for presidential personnel at the White House and rst joined the White House as the director for the energy and environment cluster within that oce. Jenny graduated with a B.A. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. At Latin, Jenny currently serves as the president of the Alumni Association.
