The student-athletes were honored at Latin's Celebratory Days of Commitment in November and April. BOYS TENNIS Over the course of the season, the Romans racked up an impressive 106-33 overall match record, which included a 6-0 ISL sweep and an eleventh straight ISL championship. Other team highlights included a second place nish at the Roman Invitational, a second place nish at the IHSA sectionals and a third place nish at the IHSA state nals. ree athletes received All-State honors: Tej Bahri '20 and Jonathan Wuyan '20 (state doubles runners-up) and Ben Mitchell '20 (fth place in State). Matt Dupont received the Independent School League Coach-of-the-Year award. BOYS LACROSSE e inaugural boys varsity lacrosse team came a long way in year one, demonstrating tremendous growth over the course of the season. With hard-fought one-goal victories against Taft High School and Northside College Prep, the team showed the potential the Latin lacrosse has in the future. SOFTBALL e girls were second in the ISL and runners up at regionals. Sarah Vendenberg received the Independent School League Coach-of-the-Year award.
