Sue Ocasek Clayton stays in touch and is keeping everyone young and healthy with products from Nerium. Mindy Husman Mann is still going strong and moving forward with her goals in California. Stacey Holleb Potts is doing well after the loss of her dad, Bert Holleb '50, and has returned to real estate, which in the current market hopefully will prove to be very fruitful. Dust off your corduroys, let your hair grow long again (assuming you still have hair), and we will have a fun time reminiscing about the good old days! We will be spinning plenty of Earth, Wind and Fire, Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye and maybe "Stairway to Heaven" to bring back those "last dance" memories. A great crowd is already planning to attend, so the event promises to be a blast — don't miss out on the chance to reconnect with old friends and tell their current friends/ significant others/spouses embarrassing stories about their high school antics! Myra Mason Beisler reports: "I finally moved to Florida last year. I do not miss Chicago winters. Irma was taxing, but I survived. If you visit Sarasota, give me a call. I will be happy to be a tour guide and/or offer suggestions." 7 Bob Chapman recently had lunch in Chicago with former Latin basketball varsity head coach John Patty (who now lives in Greensboro, NC, after retiring as a successful junior college basketball coach), and former Latin junior varsity coach Jeff Bzdelik (who is the associate head coach of the NBA's Houston Rockets and has been a successful coach in the pros and college for more than 30 years). Joining them at lunch was former Latin parent and board member (and Bob's father) Jim Chapman (who just turned 88 years old and is as active as ever!). at same evening Bob, John and Jim watched from courtside as the Rockets and Jeff defeated our up-and-coming Bulls. 8 Carey Lundin writes: "Recently my film Jens Jensen e Living Green was screened four times over Earth Day in Chicago, including at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest. www. lakeforestleader.com/life-arts/jens-jensen-movie- gorton-shows-importance-nature. My comedy series, "e Worst Travel Show", just won Best Web Series at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Fest! www.himpff.com/ april-2018-winners.html For both projects, I served as writer and director." 1982 9 Ilyce Glink Tamkin's 14th book was published in February by Penguin Random House, 100 Questions Every First-Time Home Buyer Should Ask, 4th Ed. Ilyce writes: "Somehow, I found time to write a completely new version of that book while Best Money Moves (my cloud-based, mobile-first financial wellness platform company) finished top three at 2017's HR Tech's Next Great HR Tech Company competition in October in Las Vegas. Needless to say, it's been a crazy fall." See more in Marketplace. ROMAN CONNECTIONS 40
